We source our applewood directly from local orchards here in Linzhang, Hebei. Every batch gets inspected on arrival - we toss out any damp, moldy or mixed wood right at the warehouse door, before it ever reaches our production line. Clean, dry raw material is the first and most important step to a clean-burning coal.
Carbonization runs in our sealed high-temperature kilns, and we never rush this process. Once fully carbonized, the charcoal gets ground into ultra-fine powder, then run through three separate filtering screens to sift out wood chips, dust and small impurities. We adjusted our hydraulic pressing pressure three times over the past two years, just to cut down on cracked tablets during long overseas shipping. After pressing, the 33mm round tablets dry slowly at a steady temperature, so they hold their shape and burn evenly from edge to edge.
Here is what matters most for your customers: no unnecessary chemical additives in the mix. A lot of cheap instant coals on the market cut corners with extra accelerants to save cost. Our silver-coated tablets light in seconds with a regular lighter, produce very little smoke once fully ignited, and last roughly 40 to 50 minutes per single piece. Most of our long-term clients from the Middle East and North Africa tell us the clean, steady heat is what keeps their own customers coming back for repeat buys.
We usually pack them 100 pieces per roll, 10 rolls per carton, but we can adjust packaging fully to your market needs.
